1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Acutis Studios LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Cinefuse mobile application (the "App"). Cinefuse is an iOS application that enables users to generate AI video content, including through third-party AI model providers such as OpenAI (Sora), Google (Veo), and xAI (Grok).
By downloading, installing, or using Cinefuse, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information. When you create a Cinefuse account, sign in, manage your profile, or maintain a subscription, we collect account data such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers, and subscription status. If you sign in through Apple Sign-In we receive the information you authorize that provider to share (typically your name and email address).
- Prompt Text. We collect the prompt text you type, submit for generation, or submit for prompt-optimization features.
- Reference Images. We collect reference images you upload or select when you use image-to-video feature.
- Generated Outputs. We collect and store the videos and related generation records created through the App so they can be displayed in your account, delivered to you, and managed by you later such as your prompt, generative model and video file.
- Payment Information. Subscription purchases are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not directly collect or store your credit card number or financial account details. We receive transaction confirmations and subscription status from Apple and our payment infrastructure provider, RevenueCat.
- Support Communications. If you contact us for support, we collect the information you provide in your message, including your email address and any attachments.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information. We collect device identifiers, device model, operating system version, language settings, and time zone.
- Usage Data. We collect information about how you interact with the App, including features used, generation requests made, session duration, and in-app navigation patterns.
- Log Data. Our servers automatically record information such as your IP address, access times, and crash or error reports.
2.3 Information from Third Parties
- Authentication Providers. If you use Apple Sign-In or another single sign-on service, we receive profile information as authorized by you.
- Analytics Providers. We may receive aggregated or de-identified analytics data from third-party analytics services integrated into the App.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Account Information. To create and maintain your account, authenticate your identity, manage your subscription and credits, provide customer support, and secure the App against misuse or fraud.
- Prompt Text. To process your generation requests, improve or rewrite prompts when you use prompt-optimization features, route requests to the model you selected, return generated results, and maintain your generation history.
- Reference Images. To process image-to-video or other image-supported requests, associate those inputs with your generation jobs, and return the requested output.
- Generated Outputs. To store your generated videos in your account, let you view, manage, export, or delete them, and maintain job history and status information.
- Service Improvement. To analyze usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and improve the App's features, performance, and reliability.
- Communication. To send you transactional notifications (e.g., generation status, subscription confirmations) and, where you have opted in, promotional communications about new features or updates.
- Safety and Compliance. To detect and prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
- Customer Support. To respond to your inquiries and resolve issues.
4. Legal Bases for Processing (Where Applicable)
Where data protection laws require a legal basis for processing personal data (e.g., under GDPR), we rely on the following:
- Performance of a Contract. Processing necessary to provide you with the App and fulfill our obligations under our Terms of Service.
- Legitimate Interests. Processing for our legitimate business interests, such as improving the App, preventing fraud, and ensuring security, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent. Where you have given explicit consent, such as opting in to marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal Obligation. Processing necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

Third-Party AI Providers. We disclose limited user content to third-party AI providers only as needed to provide AI features you request:
- OpenAI. Prompt text, and where applicable reference images, may be disclosed for video generation when you use OpenAI-powered generation feature with Sora 2.
- Google. Prompt text, and where applicable reference images, may be disclosed for video generation when you use Google-powered generation feature with Veo 3.1.
- xAI. Prompt text, and where applicable reference images, may be disclosed for video generation when you use xAI-powered generation feature with Grok Imagine. Prompt text may also be disclosed to support the prompt-optimization feature.
We do not disclose more user content than is reasonably necessary for the requested AI task.

Service Providers. We share information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating the App, including cloud hosting (infrastructure), payment processing (RevenueCat/Apple), analytics, and customer support tools. These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only for the services they provide to us.

Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change via the App or email.

With Your Consent. We may share your information with third parties when you have given us explicit consent to do so.
6. Third-Party AI Provider Policies
Cinefuse relies on third-party AI models for video generation and certain prompt-optimization features. When you submit prompt text or a reference image for those features, that data is transmitted to the relevant provider for processing. Each provider has its own data handling practices:

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party providers. By using Cinefuse, you acknowledge and consent to your data being processed by these providers in accordance with their respective policies.
7. Data Retention
- User Content. Your prompt text, reference images, and generated videos are stored in your account and are accessible only by you. You may delete individual content items at any time through the App. When you delete content, it is permanently removed from our active systems.
- Account Data. We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal claims).
- Usage and Log Data. Aggregated and de-identified analytics data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement. Identifiable log data is retained for no longer than 12 months.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
- Secure authentication mechanisms
- Access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
- Regular security assessments and monitoring
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction. Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Deletion. Request deletion of your personal information or your entire account.
- Data Portability. Request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

10. Children's Privacy
Cinefuse is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from a child, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
11. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our servers and third-party providers are located. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from your jurisdiction. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data during international transfers.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, providing notice through the App. Your continued use of Cinefuse after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
